My post is going to be all about food because as I am typing this I am enjoying my dinner, my wonderful thrown together in a few minutes salad from heaven. It contains leftovers from Saturday nights teriyaki chicken, turkey bacon, asparagus, spinach, lettuce, and balsamic vinaigrette dressing.
I have fallen in love with turkey bacon, I just started using it this week and it’s so good. It doesn't take as long to cook as pig bacon and it of course isn't as greasy. I made burgers the other night for the hubs and I and I normally put in bacon and onions in the burgers, well I was sneaky and made the burgers before the hubs even got home. He doesn't know that he had turkey bacon, and if he did... he would flip. (Molly if you are reading this... please do not say a word to your husband!) He thinks turkey is only meant to be eaten on Thanksgiving and in sandwiches. (To bad the taco meat that I left for him up in Healy is turkey too) This is when you would hear my 'evil' laugh... muahahahah. I'm really not evil, I just have a picky eater on my hands and if I am the cook... you eat what I make!

I am loving ground turkey but I haven't tried turkey bacon yet. I'll have to give it a try. I found a recipe online for some Quinoa Turkey Burgers and they are FABULOUS!!! I grilled them in my George Foreman Grill so these were very quick to cook. Here is a link to the recipe if you are interested:
