Spring This

I am going to have the word SPRING in all my titles until the last drop of snow melts, because SPRING is here! Yes the calendars already say its SPRING but in Alaska it means a snow fall here and the snow melt there. I use to cry and get depressed every time it was snow in April when it was technically SPRING, but now I just sit back and know it's going to just melt. Here in Alaska we don't even call is SPRING we simply call it Break Up. We get out our Xtra-Tuffs and find ourselves washing the car every other day...unless you are me and find it completely pointless to do so. SPRING.
I also enjoy SPRING because it means I can get back out on my own and walk on the roads without ice trying to kill me. I was handed down a Jeep Stroller this year and I couldn't be more happy about it. I wasn't going to buy one until SPRING and now I don't have too. Thank you NATALIE! I can't wait to start using it next week, its not a jogger stroller but that's okay because I am not jogging right now I am just walking.
Our challenge today in our SPRING INTO ACTION PHOTO CHALLENGE Was indoor and outdoor lighting. We had to take pictures around the house and outside to find our perfect light.Good thing that it decided to be nice and sunny today so I actually had good lighting outside. And the lighting in my house is so great because of the windows. We have what I like to call a Fish Tank Window in our living room, because its so big and looks right out on to the road...as well as our neighbors in the duplex have to pass by it to get to their door. That's okay thought because the light is worth it. The glass doors do the deck help light a big part of the house too. The last place I lived in had a nice big window too... but I kept the shades closed ALL the time because it was a crappy part of town and I didn't feel safe with it opened.
Here is a storyboard of my photos that I took today while Oliver was napping.
