5lbs Gone

Today I weighed myself for the very first time, and I lost 5lbs in a week. I am so proud of myself and I just know that I can conquer my weight loss and get back to being healthy again. To tell you the truth I think what really helped me this week was not eating after 8pm, because normally that when I start snacking. Along with smaller portion sizes when I do eat. I also haven't had any extra sugar, and when I do eat sugar (natural sugar from fruit) I always eat it with some protein now. I even bought 'lite' syrup for when I make us whole wheat pancakes and I just stick it in something smaller so my husband doesn't even know that its 'lite'. So many ways to fool that man!

Anyways, if you are reading this and you also want to try and lose weight, I am sitting here all sweaty from my run ready to hop in the shower and all I have to say to you is... "You can do it too, really you can. Just try it, stick with it, and you will see good come from it."

I got the dvd player hooked up to the treadmill today, so I walked for an hour (3miles) on the weight loss program, and it went by so fast. I really want to start renting some t.v. series to watch while I am up there so please fill free to leave comments on your favorites. I burned 420cals today on the treadmill, and I am about to go to work and burn some more putting together and moving around sport risers for hockey photos today.

Today was a good day and I feel amazing!
P.s tomorrow I am going to dish on a book I am reading PCOS and your fertility. Because I have read a lot of good stuff from there!
