Day 1

I woke up today and was ready to just get up to the IL's to start my workout, but I hit a minor speed bump. The ipod was dead, yeah I know I should have charged it last night, but I didn't. So I had to just deal without it and opted for my phone. When I got up to the house the first thing I wanted to do was weigh myself, only to find out that the scale they have is broken or I just couldn't figure out how to get it to weigh me.

So I started with some warm ups and hit the treadmill, I walked for 20minutes on the weight loss program and then ran the last 10minutes. I moved on to crunches and weights, and headed to the bike. I found the bike a bit boring, so I am going to bring a book next time, since its one of those reclining bikes and I don't have to hold on to anything. I worked out for a total of 60minutes and burned 310cals, I know its not that much but for my first day I think it was a good number. Considering before this I didn't really work out at all; I do take walks in the summer and run part of the time but in the winter I don't want to be outside at all!

When I was leaving the house... I got my car stuck in the driveway, my first time ever in 5 years getting stuck in their driveway. I had to go find a shovel and dig myself out, guess I needed to burn a few extra cals, and it was funny because every time I chucked a heap of snow the dog would jump in the air (off all fours) and try to catch it. Just like I told my hubby, "Don't ask me how I did it, I just got to close to the side and it sucked me in."

As for my first day, I feel better already even after only burning 310cals.

Tomorrow my goal is 500cals
