Oliver Joseph
8lbs 15 oz
I gave birth to our beautiful baby boy on 3.2.11 at 6:46 in the morning after only being in labor for 9hrs and pushing for 34 minutes. I had a natural water birth and loved everything about it, even the pain. Oliver has been a blessing for our family and my PCOS miracle baby that I never thought I would have.
Update: If you haven't been following my pregnancy blog these last 6 months ( yes not 9, because I found out I was pregnant at 3 months along) this is an update for you.
Over a year ago I set out on a journey to lose weight and get healthy so that my wonderful hubs and I could start thinking about having children. I lost 40lbs in 5 months and then found out I was pregnant in July of 2010. So I left this blog and started A Little Who . My journey at the beginning of my pregnancy was not pretty, mentally...but things turned around slowly and we are here now...happy as can be.
I am now setting a new goal for myself now to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight and lose the rest of the weight that I wanted to in the beginning. I gained all my weight back in my pregnancy but I was okay with that, because I KNEW I could lose it again. Since giving birth I lost 23lbs... I know 20lbs in one day was amazing:) Wish I could do that more often. JK. My two weeks is not up yet for resting, but as soon as they are I am hitting my in-laws basement up again and starting a new!
That's that, it's amazing how much can change in a year! I never would have thought that I would be where I am today as happy as I am.
Here are a few extra pictures from my birth and the days following:
