Here's To The Next 100 Days!

If you didn't watch my vlog then you might not know what I am talking about. The next 100 days I am going to be reading 100 Days of Weight Loss by Linda Spangle. A group of girls who I only know because we all happen to get married 10.08 and I are reading this book to help us stay on track and loss the weight that we want. These girls are the best support system anyone could want on their side. We have grown together in the last few years and we are pretty much a family in our own silly way.
So this is the start to the next 100 days, this is the start of the weight loss. I might have lost 20lbs in one day giving birth to Oliver and I am willing to go through the same sort of pain to loss another 30-40lbs! It will be a different pain, but no matter what it is all worth it in the end.
Rather then giving up a few weeks into this, the book provides you with motivation all the way to the end of your goal. I plan on writing about the whole thing! On paper first [the old school way] and then here with updates a week at a time.
This isn't going to be a diet though for me, I don't plan on counting calories or doing the crazy grapefruit diet... I plan on eating healthy again [been slacking] and actually getting in daily exercise. I know this book and the girls will be so much help. I also think going old school and writing in a journal... pen to paper is going to be fun. I use to love keeping a journal and writing ever night before bed and although blogging is great there is a vast difference in the two.
So here goes nothing... because I have nothing to lose but weight!

  1. I was at a doctor appt (unrelated to my weight) and he reminded me I DO need to lose weight. Like I didn't know lol.
He said that some girls from his office went to a local bookstore and did the 17 day diet plan and told me I should look into it. Well I did and it seemed like a gimmick. I wasn't impressed with the before/after shots and the amount of weight loss there was after the whole cycle was over (50 days). So I've been Googling all night different books.
Let me know how this works for you. I want something I can stick to.
    Good luck!
