1/2 Weigh There

Ladies, I am proud to say that I am at my half way point in my weight loss goal. I did it! I lost 3lbs this week, bringing me to my half way goal! I was so excited, I stuck my sister and my cuz (and her whole family) on speaker phone to tell them.


The thing is that I was really worried that I wasn't going to lose 3lbs this week. After work on Saturday at around 9:30, I was driving back home and I was so hungry I hadn't had anything to eat since about 2pm. I stopped by Taco Bell (my first fast food since the beginning of the year) and I was so hungry I got a 7 layer burrito... and a crunch wrap (minus the meat adding some beans) I was so mad that I got both, ate both, and finished both. I don't eat that much in one sitting anymore, so it was a bold step. The whole way home I was thinking in my head that I shouldn't have done that. I guess you can eat two medium size portions at Taco Bell and still be okay.


I mean don't do this all the time, but treat yourself to the things you love. And for me I love Mexican food. I eat it pretty much every day. I also have found that I like fake ground beef, like Boca Burgers. I mix it with my black beans and make burritos or nachos with it. If you don't eat meat you should really try it sometime. Its not bad, not that I could get my hubby to eat it, but its tasty!


If you guys remember my hubby said for every 20lbs I lost I could buy myself new Uggs. ( I currently own a pair of Ugg Clogs, and a pair of Fuggs) Well I am at that point, but have decided to hold off until we can really afford them.


Alright I am off to make dinner, and to watch the Bachelor... finally the drama will be over and we can all move on.
