Today I went to the Women's Show with my bestie Mara, neither of us had ever been so we thought this would be a great opportunity to hang out and check out the hub-bub. We signed up for every free drawing and get every sample possible. We thought we were going to be there a lot longer then we were, turns out it doesn't take very long to get bored there or just see everything. I got two reusable grocery bags for free, which I am a little excited about because I didn't want to have to buy any so yeah for me. I thought it was quit sad how many booths there were just for weight loss. Because ladies, common they are all just trying to get your money. You know that it is actually possible to lose weight just be working out a little here and there and eating better. Imagine that! But nope, you would rather drink a detox of a bunch of weird stuff and starve yourself. Or better yet, stand on a Shake Machine for 10 minutes a day that coast $1299.00. (I am sorry but I don't remember what it was really called, but it was this machine that you stop on and it shakes your body, and your booty.) How lazy!
Afterwards I went to Old Navy, and honestly I hate shopping there because I personally think their quality is crap. But I just wanted to see if they had any pants on super sale that I might actually buy. Right now I am in my old size 14 pants and I have a few pairs of 12. After a day in my 12s they are already really baggy on me. I didn't find any thing worth buying on sale, but I do have to say that I got into size 10 pants and they look so good on me. They were even a little loose around the waist... thanks to my gigantic thighs that I have. I could have cared less that I found something to buy; I was just excited that I have gone from a size 14 to a size 10. Wow... size 14... I never thought I would be that size.
My weekend was pretty good I have to say. All besides my exploding Crystal Light drink at the prom the other night... yeah it went all over my dress and was running down my legs. It was red... and it stained not only my cheap Old Navy summer dress, but my leg and my arm. I hope that I can get it out of my dress... who knows though.
Hope you all had a fabulous weekend and enjoy your week!

Congrats on the size 10!
ReplyDeleteI hate shopping for pants, too. I have the same problem. I always have to buy pants that fit my thighs, but at big around my waste!
