I know it’s been awhile since I last wrote, but its been a little busy here in Alaska. And when I say busy I just mean sunny, because we don't get very many warm days and so when the sun is out, I am out. We had a good weekend with the dogs at our house (total chaos); I did take Moe on another walk which was nice. I cleaned the IL's and our house all day Monday and then had a nice meal with my friend Mara who is leaving soon to get her Masters in teaching (shout out).
The other day I receive my first birthday card (my birthday isn’t until the end of the month) but my grandparents will be traveling (with my family here in Alaska) so they sent out my card early (I guess it didn't faze them that they could bring it with them, which made me giggle). Ever since I was a little girl they always gave us the same amount of money, but this year I got double the amount. Thank you G&G J! I love you guys! Not only for the extra money, but the fact that I was able to take it and go buy some much needed new clothes. After work I hit up Old Navy (I don't love their clothes, but they are cheap) and then I headed to Kohl’s. I found my two favorite things there, two Daisy Fuentes t's. They fit so great.
I have never really ever had my own style, nor had I had anyone else’s. I just have always worn jeans and t's and sweat shirts. But now I am learning a little bit more about what I truly love and can pull off, if I had to categorize my style it would be Chic Cowgirl. Because I love jeans, heels, jewelry (that’s a new one for me) but then I thrown on my cute brown belt and a stylish T (not just a plain old fugly one). And that is what I would call Chic Cowgirl, don't know why, but it seems to match.
Alright so my goal this week is to jog/walk 2miles each day in the neighborhood. I think I can stick to this, and now that I am not at my IL's and I have my own foods to eat I will be much better off.
